Q. Can I have more than the two remotes supplied with the automation system?

A. Yes, we can supply as many remotes as you like which we can then programme for you.

 

Q. If people use the key pad to enter the property and the gates automatically close and you’re not in, how do they get out ?

A. Either have a keypad on the inside of the property to exit or a vehicle induction loop which triggers the gate to open when driven over.

 

Q. How far away can I open my gates with a remote control?

A. Approximately 50 to 100 meters away providing installed correctly.

 

Q. If my wrought iron gates have been powder coated how do I clean them?

A. Wash with a soapy solution then jet wash.

 

Q. My manual overrides do not work?

A. We recommend that you operate the manual overrides once every couple of months. Using a small squirt of WD 40 will also help prevent them from seizing up.

 

Q. Do automation systems need maintenance?

A. Yes, they do any piece of equipment that has moving parts needs frequent lubrication to help prevent wear and tear. It is advisable to have the automation system serviced once a year.

 

Q. If I have a basic system can it be improved at a later date i.e. add to the system?

A. Yes, your system can be improved with add-ons.
